Exemption Certificates will be required for any builds that are exempted. An exempted build is one where planning permission isn’t required. The categories of exempted development are set out in planning law.
A Certificate of Compliance can be provided by an architect, surveyor or engineer, to certify that they have supervised your construction and that it has been built to comply with any Building & Planning Regulations.
A Planning Certificate can be provided by architects, surveyors or engineers, to certify that they have supervised the construction of your project and that it has been developed to comply with Building & Planning Regulations.
An Opinion of Compliance is similar but doesn’t offer the same assurance as a Certificate of Compliance. The Opinion of Compliance is carried out after the completion of a project & is only based on a visual inspection.

A Land registry compliant map is a detailed map used for Land Registration purposes. This is a detailed large scale map of a house/site which meets the specific requirements of the Property Registration Authority of Ireland.
If you have carried out works which are not exempted development and require Retention planning permission we can offer the service to regularise this for you and lodge the planning application. We can then offer an Opinion of Compliance with Planning on receiving a final grant of permission from the local authrotiy.
